You Asked For It!

So a few posters wanted to know a little more about this guy I've been seeing for a few weeks now who still has no name. I think Mr. Wonderful is a pretty good description, but after a month of anonymity, we'll call him Thom.

After returning from vacation in early September, I decided to grab life by the balls and make a few changes. One of those changes included expanding my dating radius, cause there's just not anyone around worth dating. Lo and behold, I enter a chat room, search the profiles, and WHAM! There's Thom. Very cute with stunning blue-grey eyes and a smile that would light up a room. We started chatting, and he seemed to have a great personality among other things in common.

After a week of chatting off and on, I suggested we meet. He seemed hesitant at first, but we finally agreed to go out...sometime. Our weekend schedules were kinda busy and didn't align well, but soon made plans to meet on a Saturday. I blogged about how I cancelled because of bad weather, and now regret delaying something so wonderful. The following weekend he came down and we went out. I blogged about that too. I went home the next weekend, he was out of town for a conference, so we had to wait two weeks to see each other again, and it was painful let me tell you.

The best thing about all of this, is that Thom and I don't have to play games. It's all real. We talk about what we're thinking, feeling, wanting. It's just so comfortable to have someone who seems to genuinely care for me as much as I care for him. Yeah yeah, I know it's early, but I'm definitely enjoying every day more and more because of him.

I also really like the fact he's very committed to his faith in God. We went to the Metropolitan Community Church together, and it was an incredible service last Sunday. It means so much that Thom is grounded and wow...I just can't put into words how he makes me feel.

It's been dark and rainy and overcast the last three days...but all I see is sunshine.

Hope your week is going as well as mine, since I'm the luckiest man alive.

You forgot to throw your hat in the air at the end and say "Mr. Gra-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-nt."

Sighhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Wow. When one forgets to put the **WINK** at the end of a comment, one can often come off sounding like a raging asshat.

I need to make a mental note of that...
