I Love My Gay Alcoholic Dog
It's true. I don't have a dog, but if I did, you bet he'd be a gay alcoholic!
Saturday evening, while celebrating Cinco de Mayo at Gal Pal Stephanie's, I witnessed some funny stuff.
The blender was almost constantly whirring away a new batch of margaritas. Strawberry, lime, you name it, we drank it. After I had about 6-7 tasty concoctions, we ran out of tequila. Stephanie, just back from St. Maarten, had plenty of rum and other liquor at duty free prices, so we switched to daiquiris (I think), and then I ended up drinking a beer to end the night. I must have been really trashed, because I'm not a big fan of the beer.
All the guests brought elements to make drinks or eat. I made a tasty carmel pie, and brought some strawberries and cream cheese dip for dessert snacking. We also had bomb ass rotelle dip and quesadillas.
Friend Becki (who was LaQuinta for the night, after we assigned Mexican names...I was Pedro or Julio...I don't remember)...Becki brought over her little dog Riley to play with Stephanie's dog Melvin. Melvin...well Melvin loves nothing more than for Riley to come over...chase him around...and then hump the daylight out of Riley's hind end. I mean like there's NO tomorrow! Riley seems to enjoy it, because he just stands there like it's no big deal. Apparently it happens quite often when they have doggie play dates.
I committed three big party fouls...I kept spilling the margaritas...it's hard to pour from a blender into those little plastic fake margarita glasses...so the dogs kept licking up the floor from where I spilled. Then they'd come back from time to time to make sure there wasn't any more to clean up. Silly gay drunk dogs!
Speaking of silly gay drunk dogs...we were singing Xbox Karoke (nothing better than a bunch of people trashed trying to sing)...and I kept giving the dogs my water to drink right out of my cup.
If you read a post about me having Parvo, don't be surprised.
Oh yeah...I guess this means I'm back! Sorry about the lack of posts lately, I've just been blah with everything.
Later,
"W"
