10 Things Tuesday & Weekend Recap

Hey all...it's Tuesday, so that means 10 more useless, boring facts about "W"!

41.) I'm a people pleaser, although not as bad in my younger days, but I still like to make people happy.
42.) I'm nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other. No it does not balance out.
43.) I've never lived in a city with more than 50,000 people.
44.) I love to travel and have been to both coasts, and to Europe twice (Rome & Paris).
45.) I keep way too many receipts and various credit cards in my wallet, so I don't put it in my back pocket, I just carry it in my coat or manbag.
46.) I'm falling in love with a wonderful man. I've never been this excited or scared in my life.
47.) I'm still not 'out' to my family.
48.) I wear a size 10 shoe
49.) I have more than a dozen pairs of shoes and sandals in my closet, I only wear about half of them.
50.) My coffee table books are "A Beautiful Life", "Face Forward, "When I Knew" and "The Tori Amos Anthology".

This is getting tougher each week, I'm not sure I can find 50 more facts.

Anyhoo, the weekend was really good. I had an awesome time with Thom. We're still in that getting to know each others quirks phase. Which kinda led to a not so great conversation, but it wasn't an argument or anything, just a 'hey I kinda notice this about you'. I know the entire relationship can't be all glitter and gold, so it's a bit of a relief to come off the romance high slightly and still feel great about things. We went on a hayride Saturday night...it rained...but was still a good excuse to cuddle up under an umbrella. I had on a sweater and gave him my jacket so he wouldn't get cold. Sunday we went to church and lunch with some church peeps. All in all just an enjoyable time. Then I woke up Monday and had to come back home and go to work. Not enjoyable.

The situation with the sis and nephew aren't quite as bad, but it's definitely a setback. The judge ruled there wasn't any ground for terminating the father's rights, EVEN though the law clearly was broken. So now it's in the hands of another judge to determine custody. I'm not sure when that'll happen.

Okies...gotta go to the grocery.
