Deal or No Deal
I've blogged about the tentative trip to Thailand for awhile now. Putting it out there, thinking if I say it, I'll see it...or something like that. Friend Sean in Bangkok told me that's a good way of positive reinforcement.
Anyhoo...the time draws near. I do have enough tax refund to help pay for the trip.
So I can either...
A) Go to Thailand and have a once in a lifetime opportunity
B) Pay off a credit card bill and other loan and be completely debt free (with the exception of my car payment, which will be paid for in August)
Hmm...decisions, decisions. I'm leaning toward going on the trip, because I could always pay off my other debt once the jeep is paid for...and use the car payment as extra payment on the other bills.
Any input, comments, or questions?!?!?!?!
And no, if I go, I will not take in any shows involving sharpie's and snatches.

Well, I'm all practical and boring and stuff so if it were me, I'd pay off the credit card bill and the other loan.
But if you do go, you TOTALLY need to see a Sharpies and Snatches show...
That's the conundrum I always find myself in. Pay off debt with my annual bonus, or spend it on new stuff for ME. Last year I did a little of each. This year -- since I don't know what to expect -- I may be limited, but there a couple major items I want to buy, as well as saving for a trip or two -- but I really SHOULD pay off credit cards.
Grrrrr .... you're on your own.

And remember, you can only carry-on 3oz or less of ranch dressing with you -- otherwise it has to be packed in your checked luggage.
Normally, I'd offer practical advice and say you ought to pay off your debt.
However...Thailand?! How often in life does that kind of opportunity come knocking at your door?
